I like to draw things that are challenging... bicycles, clasped hands and children with quizzical expressions.

I'm a sucker for a sunset, back-lighting, raised eyebrows and (clean) hand gestures. 

The qualities I aspire to create in my illustrations include, but are not limited to:

• Unusual perspectives

• Loose lines with energy

• Effective use of light and shadow

• Salient foreground features

• Humorous (and telling) facial expressions

• Lovable characters
